Glosters RGBW Regimental
The Glosters were amalgamated in 1994 with
Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment
To become the
Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment
On the 22nd July 2005 RGBW joined the Light Division with
the transitional title of
The Royal Gloucestershire Berkshire and Wiltshire Light Infantry.
On the 1st February 2007 they merged with the Devon and
Dorset Light Infantry to become 1st. Battalion The Rifles.
Full membership of the Regimental Association is open
to all serving and former members of the :
Gloucestershire Berkshire & Wiltshire Regiment
Duke of Edinburgh's Royal
Full membership is open to all
ranks including adult instructors of the A.C.F and C.C.F.
We also welcome as
Associates those Servicemen and Women who have served with Units
attached to any of our former Regiments.

Changes are afoot with the closure of RHQ Gloucester.
The Gloucester Bristol side of the Regimental Association will be managed
independently headed by Lt, Col. Rob Dixon.
It is important that we keep you in touch with the Regimental family,
reunions, events etc. Not
all news is appropriate for publication on Facebook.
The website database shows over 700 active email addresses but
unfortunately there are a further 300 members who over the years have
changed their email addresses but didn't get around to notifying
Lesley or the webmaster.
