Service Notice: Funeral details have now been released for 22378510 Private Eric Le Feuvre, 1st Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment, who passed away at home on the 25thof January 2024.

The Association County Chairman (Somerset) will be supporting the family at the service, providing the Regimental drape, hat & belt and wreath. Eric’s memorial service will be held at Southampton Crematorium, Bassett Green Rd, Southampton SO16 3QB on Thursday, February 29th @ 1 pm.

Due to its location, it would be greatly appreciated if any members of the Association who live close to Southampton could attend to say farewell to this Korean Veteran.

After the service, everyone is invited to join the family at “The Grand”, South Western House, Terminus Terrace, Southampton SO14 3AS. Family flowers only.

Eric now joins his wife Sheila Le Feuvre who passed six months ago and his only son who died in 2003 aged 43.

He leaves a daughter Lorraine, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
