It is my sad duty to inform you that Ray Chivers passed away peacefully at John Willis House, Jessop Cresent, Westbury On Trym, on Saturday 11th March 2023 - two months shy of his 90th birthday. Ray's family were with him when he passed.
Ray did his National Service (plus two more years) with The Glosters; serving most of that time in Korea. His Funeral Service will held on Tuesday 18th April 2023 at Canform Crematorium 1330hrs - just two days before the anniversary of the Battle of Imjin River
Ray's family have asked if his details could be added to your "In Remembrance" page please. They expect that there will be about one hundred mourners attending Ray's Funeral Service and are not seeking assistance.
Should the Association wish to be represented in any way at the Funeral Service that would be welcomed.
